Sonsierra Rioja 2009 Harvest:
The total 2009 La Rioja grape harvest was 412.3 million kilograms vinified by 657 wineries consisting of 331 ageing bodegas, 38 co-ops, 47 wine keepers and 241 winegrowers: Almost the same as in 2007 and slightly 2008. 2009 ahd a wonderful 100% budburst with normal fertility rates and satisfactory setting. Additionally, green pruning was necessary in numerous vineyards to abide by the limits set within thr regulation figures.
