Bodegas Sonsierra wines are a well sort after Deep ruby Rioja with a sumptuoua bouquet when they have aged. Best with fillet steak or Local cheese.

Tempranillo is a Spanish black grape grown to make full-bodied Rioja wines and often referred to as the "noble grape" of Spain. The name Tempranillo is the diminutive form of the Spanish temprano which means "early" because it ripens several weeks earlier than most other Spanish red grapes. Tempranillo wines can be drunk when they are young although the more expensive ones are aged in oak barrels for several years. The wines are a strong ruby red with aromas and berry flavours and plum, vanilla and leather but all should have the characteristic oaken fullness.
